There are only two weeks left to enter the 2025 Twice Built Winter & Holiday LEGO® MOC Contest — and we want to see what you can build!
If you’ve ever dreamed of putting your creativity on display, now is your moment. Throughout November, Twice Built is accepting original LEGO creations from builders of all ages for our annual Winter & Holiday MOC Contest, and the deadline to enter is quickly approaching: November 30, 2025.
Whether you’re a seasoned AFOL (Adult Fan of LEGO®) or a young builder with a big imagination, this contest is designed to celebrate creativity, community, and the fun of building with bricks.
❄️ What Is a MOC?
MOC stands for “My Own Creation”, a popular term in the LEGO fan community referring to custom, original builds — not official LEGO sets. MOCs allow builders to express imagination and engineering skill without instructions or constraints… except for the ones they invent themselves.
This year’s theme is:
🎄 Best Winter or Holiday Scene
Your MOC could be:
- A cozy cabin in the snow
- A festive town square
- Minifigs sledding down a hill
- A holiday train station
- A nativity scene
- A winter wonderland full of creative details
- Or something completely different — as long as it fits the theme!
🧱 Contest Rules
To keep things fair, simple, and fun, here are the official guidelines:
- Maximum size: Your MOC must fit on one standard baseplate (32×32 studs) — no minimum size required.
- Use your own pieces: Builds must be made from your personal LEGO collection; store pieces cannot be used.
- Entries accepted through November 30, 2025 — space is limited to 10 total entries, first come, first displayed.
- Your MOC will be on display at Twice Built throughout December, where customers and visitors can vote for their favorites.
- Winners announced after December 31, once voting is complete.
- By entering, you agree that your build may be photographed and featured on Twice Built social media accounts and promotional materials.

We’re offering rewards for the top three builds as determined by community vote:

Just bring your completed build to:

Store Hours: Tuesday–Saturday, 12 PM – 8 PM
Our team will check in your entry, label it, and add it to the display case or featured contest area. Once December begins, we’ll open voting in-store — and possibly online as well.

- An original holiday story using minifigs
- A reimagined Christmas or holiday tradition
- A snowy sci-fi scene
- A “classic space meets winter wonderland” crossover
- Festive architecture, micro scale builds, or dioramas
- A funny or exaggerated take on winter chaos (snowball fights, elves, etc.)
Remember: the goal is creativity, not perfection. And sometimes the simplest idea ends up being the most memorable.
