Shipping and Returns Policy

At Twice Built, we’re dedicated to providing a smooth shopping experience for our wide range of products, including LEGO bricks, sets, and accessories; novelty items from Archie McPhee; candies from Blair Candy Company; books, toys, games, and board games. This policy outlines our shipping processes, return guidelines, and how we handle related issues to ensure transparency and fairness.
Please note: We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the LEGO Group, Archie McPhee, Blair Candy Company, or any other brands we sell. We are an independent retailer sourcing genuine products from various suppliers and collectors. LEGO® is a trademark of the LEGO Group, which does not sponsor, authorize, or endorse this site or our products.

- Overview We strive to ship orders quickly and securely from our physical location in Layton, Utah view us on [Google Maps] Orders are processed within 1-3 business days (Monday-Friday, excluding holidays). Shipping times vary based on destination, carrier, and product type—e.g., perishable items like Blair Candy Company products may require expedited options to maintain quality.
We use Bricqer to manage inventory across our WooCommerce site, BrickLink, BrickOwl, eBay, and BrickScout for LEGO items. Non-LEGO products are primarily handled through our WooCommerce site. All shipments are trackable, and you’ll receive a confirmation email with details upon dispatch.
Important: We do not offer free shipping on any orders. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on weight, dimensions, destination, and carrier.
- Shipping Options and Costs
- Domestic Shipping (U.S.): We ship via USPS, UPS, or FedEx. Standard ground shipping starts at $5.99 for small orders and increases based on package specifics. Expedited options (e.g., 2-day or overnight) are available at additional cost.
- International Shipping: Available to most countries via USPS International, UPS, or FedEx. Rates start at $15.99 and vary by country, weight, and speed. Buyers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or fees imposed by their country. Shipping times typically range from 7-21 days.
- Perishable Items: Candies and other temperature-sensitive products (e.g., from Blair Candy Company) may require insulated packaging or expedited shipping during warm weather, with added fees. We reserve the right to delay shipments if conditions could compromise product quality.
- Order Tracking: Once shipped, you’ll receive a tracking number via email. Log into your account on twicebuiltbrick.com (or the purchase platform) for updates.
- Refunds
We offer refunds for eligible returns (see Section 8 for process). Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5-10 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned item(s). Shipping costs are non-refundable, and return shipping is at your expense unless the error is ours (e.g., incorrect item sent).
- Sale Items: Any products purchased on sale, clearance, or with a discount code are final sale and not eligible for refund, exchange, or store credit.
- Partial Refunds: May apply for used or incomplete returns, at our discretion.
- Gifts: If you received an item as a gift, you can return it for store credit (not refund) within the 30-day window, provided it meets eligibility criteria. Include gift receipt or order details for verification.
- Late Payments
If payment for your order is delayed (e.g., due to declined card or pending PayPal approval), we’ll hold the order for up to 48 hours. If unresolved, the order may be canceled, and inventory released. You’ll receive an email notification. We accept payments via major credit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay—ensure your details are current to avoid delays.
- Late Shipments
We aim to ship within 1-3 business days, but delays can occur due to high volume, inventory verification (especially for used LEGO items), weather, or carrier issues. If your order is delayed beyond 5 business days, contact us for an update—we’ll provide status and, if applicable, a partial refund or discount on future purchases as goodwill.
- Missing Shipments
If your order doesn’t arrive within the estimated timeframe (e.g., 3-7 days domestic, 7-21 international), first check your tracking number. If marked as delivered but missing, report to the carrier immediately (e.g., file a USPS claim). Contact us within 30 days of shipment with details—we’ll investigate and, if confirmed lost, offer a replacement or full refund (including shipping costs).
- Late or Missing Refunds
Refunds should appear on your statement within 5-10 business days after approval. If delayed (e.g., due to bank processing), contact your payment provider first. If still unresolved after 14 days, reach out to us with your order number—we’ll verify and reprocess if needed. Missing refunds are rare but can be traced via our records.
- Returns Process
We want you to love your purchase! Returns are accepted for most items if initiated within 7 days of receipt.
- Eligibility: Items must be unused, in original condition, with all packaging, tags, and accessories. Used or opened items (e.g., assembled LEGO sets, minifigures) may qualify for store credit only, on a case-by-case basis, but are generally not eligible for returns. Perishable goods like candies are non-returnable due to health and safety regulations.
- How to Return:
- Contact us via email or our contact form to request a Return Authorization (RA) number—include order number, reason, and photos if applicable.
- Pack items securely and include the RA number.
- Ship back to: Twice Built, 1010 N Hill Field Rd, STE B2, Layton, UT 84041.
- Once received and inspected (typically 3-5 business days), we’ll process your refund or credit.
- Return Shipping: At your cost, unless we sent the wrong/damaged item. Use a trackable method to avoid loss.
- Exchanges: Available for defective items only—contact us for options.
- Gifts: As noted in Section 3, gift returns yield store credit.
Note: Custom or bulk orders, sale items, and certain novelties (e.g., Archie McPhee items with hygiene concerns) may have restricted returns—check product descriptions.
