Why We Changed Our Store Hours (And Why It’s Better for Builders)

The end of the holiday season gives every small business an important opportunity:
to pause, review what worked, and adjust what didn’t.

At Twice Built, the holidays were busy, exciting, and full of lessons. One of the clearest takeaways was this:

Most people prefer to visit the store while it’s still light outside.

Families want to stop by after school. Parents want to swing in before dinner. Builders want to browse comfortably without rushing in after dark. When we looked honestly at foot traffic patterns, the message was consistent.

So we listened.

A Permanent Change, Not a Temporary Experiment

Starting this year, Twice Built is now open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

This isn’t a seasonal adjustment or a trial run. It’s a permanent shift designed to better match how our customers actually shop.

We believe store hours should serve the community — not the other way around.
